Yearbook sales at Lecanto High School are conducted in three stages, beginning in the Fall, and ending when the books arrive in the Spring.
The cost of the yearbook is lowest at the beginning of the year and increases throughout the year. Announcements are made and signs are posted advertising the various stages. Students/Parents should plan on pre-ordering a yearbook to be certain one is available. STAGE ONE: Pre-sales take place at school during all lunches in the cafeteria on two consecutive days. This year pre-sales will take place on Sept. 18 & 19 during all lunches in the cafeteria. Checks or cash may be used for payment. Order forms will be given out in homeroom prior to these days so that they may be completed and submitted with payment. This is the only time books may be pre-ordered and paid for at school. Books will cost $75.00. |
STAGE TWO: Pre-sales via Balfour Publishing’s SmartPay® program begins on the Monday following pre-sales in September and runs through December. Order forms will be mailed directly to each student’s home address. Orders may be placed online, by mail, or by telephone to Balfour/Taylor Publishing. No payments will be accepted at school during this stage. During this stage books will cost $80.00. On-line Sales at Smart-Pay.com
STAGE THREE: Book distribution and at-school sales of a very limited number of extra books takes place in early May. Books are sold on a first-come first-served basis, with Seniors having an earlier, first opportunity to purchase them. In the past few years, books have sold out completely, so to ensure a yearbook is available for you, you should plan on pre-ordering and not waiting until this stage. During this stage books sell for approximately $85.00. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me.
